A High Street Digital Media Transformation
Following the successful deployment of our High Street Media solution at Kaspa’s Desserts in Brighton, which delivered strong impression volumes and valuable demographic insights, Kaspa’s introduced the opportunity to replicate the model at their Fareham location.
The Fareham store occupies a striking, modern rotunda unit at the main entrance of the Fareham Shopping Centre. While architecturally impressive, the store’s blackened laminate glass, running floor to ceiling, limited visibility into the space and reduced the impact of its existing static editorial displays. As a result, the store struggled to fully capture the attention of passing footfall.
The Challenge at Kaspa’s in Fareham
The key objective was to increase cut-through with passing shoppers and bring energy and visibility to the storefront, without compromising the store’s premium, contemporary aesthetic.
Additional challenges included:
- Installation during trading hours, requiring careful control of noise, dust, and disruption
- Poor 5G network connectivity in the immediate area, impacting initial system performance
The Solution
High-brightness digital screens were installed within the storefront, transforming the exterior into a dynamic visual touchpoint. The screens immediately brought the unit to life, creating movement, colour, and messaging that could be seen clearly from across the shopping complex.
Due to ongoing connectivity issues, the technology stack was later adapted to suit the local environment. This upgrade has now delivered full and reliable connectivity, ensuring consistent performance and enabling accurate data capture.
All works were completed during opening hours, with detailed planning and close coordination with store staff to minimise disruption and maintain a positive customer experience throughout.
The Result
The impact was immediate. The digital displays significantly improved visibility and presence, drawing attention from passers-by and complementing the store’s modern design so seamlessly that it feels as though the screens have always been part of the space.
Public response has been overwhelmingly positive, with increased engagement at the storefront and strong interest in the content being displayed.
The Fareham team have been welcoming and a pleasure to work alongside, demonstrating excellent collaboration throughout the process.
Looking Ahead
Shuvo, the Store Manager at Kaspa’s Fareham, is delighted with the final result and is looking forward to receiving demographic and impression data from the screens. These insights will allow him to refine promotional offers, better understand his audience, and drive even stronger customer engagement going forward.
